We left April 29th for a month of meetings, which began first in Iowa with Pastor
Ron Morrow at the Gospel Light Bapist Church. At each service we came away knowing God had come down and met with us.
Sunday morning during the Sunday School hour the Lord wonderfully saved two precious souls. That makes all the long
hours in the car worthwhile. We went from Iowa to Indiana where we were with Pastor Lyons at the Decatur Baptist Church
May 7th and with Pastor Lovins at the New Heights Baptist Church on May 8th. It was a joy to see friends and faithful
prayer warriors of our ministry that we have not seen for some years. Praise the Lord for the family of God. We
left Indiana and made our way to Hendersonville, TN to be with Pastor Jimmy Crocket at the Bible Baptist Church. We
had precious fellowship with the Crocket family and praise the Lord for these dear friends who have been such a blessing to
our ministry as well as to us personally. We were able to be used of the Lord in two other churches in Tennessee; the
Vcitory Baptist Church in Shelbyville and the Liberty Baptist Church in Pigeon Forge. We saw many decisions made at
the altars for the glory of God. It was a blessing to see God's people bow at the altar and give themselves to serve
the Lord in an even greater way. Sunday, May 18th we had the privilege to be at the Woodland Baptist Church with Pastor
Tim Gammon during the morning and to be at the Gospel Light Baptist Church with Pastor Bobby Roberson in the evening.
Again the Lord moved upon hearts and the altars were full. Bailey's Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Jon Shook opened
their prophet's chamber up to us the 19th through the 20th which was such a blessing. We praise the Lord for how
he used the teaching before the service to the Sunday School teachers and bus workers as well as once again moving in the
evening service. It was such an overwhelming honor that night to us and very humbling when they added me into their
preacher's hall of fame. It was an encouragement to my heart and an honor that was not taken lightly. We praise
the Lord for His "amens" to us along the road of service for Him. May 22nd and 23rd we were able to spend
with my daughter, Phyllis and her family while we watched one of my grandsons, Nick, graduate from Killian Hill Baptist High
School. As we headed toward home we stopped in Memphis and preached for Pastor Jack Bachman at the Calvary Baptist Church
in the morning and for Pastor Eddie Champion at Easthill Baptist Church. We praise the Lord for all the hospitality
that was shown to us at each church and thank the Lord for the privilege to fellowship with some of God's most wonderful
servants.
