Abundance

We have an abundant God!  He is abundant in mercy—His mercies are new every morning.  He is abundant in grace—His grace continues to save souls, for by grace are ye saved.  He is abundant in forgiveness—He is faithful and just to forgive, and stands ready to forgive the moment we confess our sins.  He is abundant in provision—He will provide all our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus.  He has abundant compassion toward us—His compassions fail not.  His love toward us is abundant—His love never fails.  He is abundantly patient with us and is ever slow to get angry.  Being in Christ we have an abundant supply of all that we will ever need.  Do you need rest just now? The Lord Jesus Christ is beckoning you to come unto Him, and He will give you rest that satisfies and refreshes.  Whatever the need, we have an abundant God that is able to sufficiently care for that need.  He abundantly made a way for the children of Israel to cross the Red Sea.  He then fed them abundantly in the wilderness (Exodus 16). He never fails to keep His promises, and there are an abundant amount of promises He has given to us; we just need to search the Scriptures to find them, and then claim them for our own.

My husband continually emphasized the abundance of our God, and encouraged Christians to look upon His abundance.  My husband witnessed God’s abundant supply throughout the 28½ years of his wife Pam’s illness.  He testified that over a million dollars was spent on her care, which was all supplied for by our abundant God.  Be encouraged today that we all have access to the great God of abundance, and He will abundantly meet your every need of whatever sort or size it is. He will also give us an ability to extend His grace, His mercy, His forgiveness, His love, and His faithfulness to others in an abundant way through the Holy Spirit that lives within each one of His children.  And then, wonder of wonders, remember that we will have an abundant entrance into Heaven one day!  Have you received Jesus Christ as your Savior?  He is our open door to the abundance of God the Father.  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.—Romans 10:9 &13.

🌿Identify one need you are carrying today. Take it to God in prayer and thank Him that He is more than enough to meet that need.

🌿When you find yourself focusing on what you lack, pause and remember what you already have in Christ. Choose to praise God for His abundant grace, love, and provision.
