Who We Are

Mrs. Jeannine Williams
president
Jeannine Williams now serves as President of Tom Williams Evangelistic Ministries, carrying forward the legacy of her late husband, Dr. Tom Williams, with grace, strength, and unwavering faith.
Jeannine gave her heart to Christ at the age of eight while attending a Christian summer camp. It wasn’t until her final year of college that she fully surrendered her life to God’s will. That decision marked the beginning of a deeply personal journey of spiritual growth and trust.
Through many seasons—both mountaintop victories and valley trials—Jeannine has learned to walk closely with the Lord, spending daily time in prayer and Scripture. These experiences have shaped her life with a deep understanding that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts greater than ours.
Today, Jeannine leads the ministry with a heart devoted to the work of Christ and a passion to see Dr. Williams’ vision continue to reach the next generation. Her life testifies to the power of surrender and the faithfulness of God in every chapter of the journey.

Pastor John Shook
board member
Pastor Jon Shook brings decades of faithful pastoral leadership, a heart for people, and a deep evangelistic spirit to his role as a board member of Tom Williams Evangelistic Ministries. He trusted Christ as an eight-year-old boy in his home church in Hickory, North Carolina, and surrendered to God’s call to ministry at Wilds Christian Camp in 1985. Raised in a preacher’s home, Pastor Shook developed a deep love for God and others that has shaped every aspect of his life and ministry.
A graduate of Hyles-Anderson College, he earned both a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Theology and a Bachelor of Theology. In 1995, he became the pastor of Bailey’s Grove Baptist Church in Asheboro, North Carolina, where under his leadership, the church grew from a small congregation into a thriving ministry averaging over 500 in weekly attendance. The church’s growth has included the addition of multiple outreach ministries, expanded facilities across two campuses, and the founding of Bailey’s Grove Baptist School (K–12), launched in 2011 to train the next generation for Christian service.
Pastor Shook is known for his passionate preaching, compassion for people from all walks of life, and commitment to personal soulwinning. His evangelistic heart and vision align closely with the mission of Tom Williams Evangelistic Ministries — to continue impacting lives for Christ across generations.
